Airavo is a free iPhone app that gives athletes and anyone active outdoors a personalized Go / Caution / No-Go for their local air quality — so they know when it’s safe to exercise. For interviews, assets, or questions, contact Steven Decker at steve@airavo.app.
About Airavo
Airavo turns local air-quality data into a simple, personalized verdict tuned to each person’s lung sensitivity and activity level, and shows the cleanest window of the day to get outside. It tracks wildfire smoke (PM2.5), dust and pollen (PM10), and ozone (smog), and blends PurpleAir, AirNow (US EPA), and OpenWeather data. Its exercise air-quality approach was reviewed by exercise physiologist Lance C. Dalleck, PhD.
The Creators
Airavo was created by endurance athletes Steven Decker and Alex Aaron, each building from personal experience with compromised lungs. (Full story on the About page.)
